Getting Started With Watercolors

The last time I posted about my first stint in creating artworks using watercolors was during the time I returned to my hometown to spend the Holy Week. So now I’ll be sharing one of the few artworks I’ve created so far. It is called “MOONSTRUCK” drawn with ink and watercolor on paper.

What’s nice about watercolor painting is that a one single hue can be experimented into a variety of color schemes. It’s my first time to use this medium so I’m quite surprised how it gave a beautiful effect on my ink drawings. Good thing the sketchbook I’ve used have pages with enough durability to resist water.

More to go in watercolor painting and I’m getting excited for new and interesting subjects. Don’t worry,I’ll keep you guys posted. :)
