Going Underwater | Another Watercolor Session

Underwater artworks are one of the most challenging art pieces for me. I don’t know but there’s something in water that I really find so hard to draw. Hmm. I know I’ve already posted underwater artworks like mermaids and sea lovers, but using a different medium makes a huge difference. That’s why it has been a challenge for me to pic an underwater scene in this next artwork I did. Just a perfect theme when I recently started to use watercolors as one of my media in drawing execution.

Take a look at the final drawing (my apologies for posting a not so good quality of image; just used a common digital camera for this - peace Pia! haha):

I thought picking an underwater scene was a suicide. But it’s all worth it. The good thing is that watercolors made all things easier for me, from experimenting on the background to the full utilization of all spaces of the paper.

Well, anyway, hope you guys like this. :)

PS: I’ve been busy for a while and failed to update my Google Plus posts. I got back a day ago and realized I’m missing all the fun. Just today, my friend Lee tagged me over a new Fine Art Theme called Anime Art Sunday. And I’m planning to drop this artwork as my first entry. :)
