We had a general cleaning of our apartment a week back and never expected that such cleaning session can be another source of creative awesomeness!
I found a piece of plywood, approximately 12 x 20 inches, covered with dirt and completely useless. At first we decided to dispose it but I thought of a better idea! That time, I was planning to buy a canvas to create something to hung up on our walls so I thought of why not use the plywood instead. I cleaned it and started creating random doodles using pastel. Here’s what it’s look like after the sketch:
It was actually my first time to draw on wood using pastels and I definitely enjoyed it! Color blending and application is just so smooth when done on a wooden surface. After few hours, here’s the final work:
Viola! A nice doodle inspired wall decoration! Who would think that this one is from an old plywood?
The Lesson: Always think twice when disposing something from your things. Some of them might actually be recycled and transformed into something really useful and awesome.
