Facebook Doodle Collaboration

Few weeks ago, I started a doodle project involving the Facebook fans of Sketchy Stories. I posted this message:

Who’s up for a doodle collaboration? I am planning to doodle a new page of my sketchbook but I’m running out of ideas… So I thought of why not collaborate with you guys by using your crazy ideas as my reference!

Just leave a comment in this post with your idea about a specific thing you would like to see in the doodle and answering the question, what would you like me to draw?

An exciting doodle collaboration started!

Crazy ideas came in not just from the Fanpage but through my personal Facebook as well. Here are some of the awesome ideas I selected:

After a few weeks, I’m proud to finally present the final piece below, combining the crazy ideas above and more in a one hell of a doodle!

DOODLE TIP

To get the most out of doodling, try not to use a pencil or avoid creating a preliminary reference sketch. Visualize your concept in your mind and let your hand and pens doodle it on paper spontaneously.

By not following a pencil sketch or looking at an actual reference, you create your own characters, patterns and your own unique creative concept. That is how I develop my own style in doodling.

Have an awesome day ahead!
