Last three pages of my fantasy sketchbook., here’s one of them, inspired by a favorite anime character from the ’90s.
FAIRY QUEST (ink and colored pencil on paper)
Another piece from the last few pages of my fantasy sketchbook. I did this last August and just completed recently. I love drawing mystical characters like monsters and fairies and this one is a special favorite. I like the effect of combining a colored background with a monochrome subject.
As my fantasy sketchbook will be ending soon. I am so happy and excited to announce that 2013 is the year for my doodle monsters. If you like the Doodle Draw sketchbook series, you’ll definitely like the other things I’m cooking for the coming days! That’s all for now and stay awesome everyone!

Here’s a pre-Halloween treat for you guys. This is probably the first time I’ll be posting a work with some snapshots of how it was drawn. I just don’t have that patience in documenting my work in progress for my past projects. I started posting the photos above over Facebook a few weeks ago and finally here’s the final drawing, inked and colored. Enjoy!

THE KNIGHT JOKER (ink and colored pencils on paper)
I honestly can’t figured out what exactly my inspiration for this piece but seeing the final work brings me a fusion of Joker from the Batman and Hisuka from Hunter X Hunter with some touch of a fallen warrior probably from the Medieval times.

WATER EMPEROR (ink and colored pencils on paper)
Hey guys! Finally here’s a new work from my sketchbook! I’m going back to the dark depths of the sea as I bring you “WATER EMPEROR” - my own interpretation of Poseidon, the Greek God of the Sea.
Hope you like this one. More works are coming! See you guys soon! :)
This weekend’s weather is just so disgusting - bringing me all the boredom in my place. Not in the mood to draw so I’ll just share some previous pieces from my sketchbook. And for today, another watercolor masterpiece is quite appropriate.

ABSTRACT SORCERER (ink and watercolor on paper)
This is my fourth piece from my sketchbook created and rendered in full color using watercolor. The sorcerer is based from one of the character sketches I did way back in high school.
Another watercolor artwork I did before. Inspired by fantasy stories where birds are used as messengers from one kingdom to another.

THE MESSENGER (ink and colored pencil on paper)
Going back to work tomorrow and the message is clear: “working with crushed hands and brains”. See you soon. :)
